She was taken into custody at the Springlands Police Station where she was subjected to a search.During the search what appeared to be seeds, leaves and stem of the marijuana plant were found concealed in her underwear and in her vagina.The items were retrieved and tested and weighed and found to be 32 grams of marijuana. She was subsequently charged.In court, attorney at law Adrian Anamayah asked that bail be granted on the grounds that the woman has a small child to take care of. However Police Prosecutor Inspector Bernard Brown objected to bail on the grounds that there are no special circumstances put forward by the defence.Brown stated that the Prosecution is relying on the statutes.
